Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and personable Front Desk Executive to join our team at [Hotel Name]. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an outstanding experience for every guest who walks through our doors. Key Responsibilities: 1. Guest Interaction: - Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, creating a positive first and last impression of the hotel. - Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guests’ stays. 2. Check-In and Check-Out: - Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for guests. - Verify guest information, process payments, and handle reservations accurately. 3. Communication Skills: - Answer phone calls and address inquiries in a friendly and professional manner. - Effectively communicate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve any issues that arise during their stay. 4. Problem Solving: - Handle guest complaints and concerns with patience and professionalism, striving for resolutions that result in satisfied guests. - Make decisions regarding room assignments and upgrades, when necessary, to enhance the guest experience. 5. Administrative Duties: - Maintain accurate records of guest information, special requests, and billing. - Assist in inventory control of front desk supplies and ensure the area is well-maintained and presentable. 6. Team Collaboration: - Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely room availability and cleanliness. - Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus. - Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in the hotel industry. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. - Good appearance, confidence, and a charming personality to create a positive impression. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software (experience with PMS such as Opera is a plus). - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
