Growth Founding Member – Friends In (by Entrext) About Friends In Friends In is a college-style tournament mobile game running in limited-time seasonal cycles. You and up to 5 friends form a squad, complete monthly dares, unlock new challenges, and compete against other teams. Schools, colleges, and friend circles enter the leaderboard—top squads win recognition, rewards, and bragging rights. A social-gaming experience powered by community, competition, and real-world excitement. Friends In is a flagship micro-product under Entrext. Role: Growth Founding Member As a Growth Founding Member at Entrext, you will take ownership of scaling Friends In from 0 → 1 → many. You’ll blend product thinking with aggressive experimentation, user acquisition, community growth, partnerships, and analytics to drive explosive adoption during each tournament cycle. You’ll move fast, build growth loops, validate ideas live in the market, and directly shape the trajectory of Friends In. This role comes with 10% participation/stake in the product’s success. Key Responsibilities Growth & Strategy Design and execute the growth strategy for Friends In across colleges, schools, and youth communities. Build acquisition funnels, viral loops, and retention systems tailored to seasonal gameplay. Identify high-leverage growth channels (campus ambassadors, influencer squads, events, dares, incentives). Product-Market Fit & Experiments Work closely with the product team to refine dares, challenges, mechanics, and tournament formats based on real user behavior. Launch rapid growth experiments (UGC campaigns, squad challenges, referral boosts, streak incentives). Drive user research to understand motivators, friction points, and player psychology. Community & Partnerships Build and scale community efforts: college representatives, event partnerships, online campus communities. Coordinate with marketing to run campaigns around tournament seasons, school wars, and friend-group competitions. Engage with early power users, squads, and influencers. Metrics & P&L Ownership Own key metrics: installs, activation rate, team formation, challenge completion, retention, and revenue. Monitor tournament health: number of squads, leaderboard activity, daily actions. Manage product P&L: pricing, rewards, premium features, transaction funnels, and churn. Cross-functional Collaboration Work with product, engineering, design, and support to execute launches quickly. Align growth decisions with product roadmap and user feedback. Play an essential role in Friends In’s high-velocity build–measure–learn cycle. What You Bring A startup/entrepreneur mindset—comfortable with rapid cycles, ambiguity, and ownership. Experience in growth, community-building, or launching digital products (SaaS, mobile apps, games). Strong analytical thinking: data-driven decisions, funnel analysis, experiment design. A natural ability to rally people—users, ambassadors, partners—around an idea. Hunger to build something fun, social, and viral from the ground up. Rewards 10% participation/stake in the Friends In product you help grow. A high-ownership, zero-bureaucracy role in a product-first company. Opportunity to shape one of Entrext’s biggest consumer-facing launches. Flexibility, creativity, and freedom to build things your way.
