Overview:
ProArch is Seeking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Fresher Security Analyst (VAPT)
to join our cybersecurity team in India. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to build a strong foundation in
Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT)
. The selected candidate will assist senior security professionals in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities across systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on networks, systems, and web applications
- Support the analysis of security testing results and help prepare detailed vulnerability reports with remediation recommendations
- Work closely with senior VAPT analysts to learn and apply penetration testing tools, techniques, and methodologies
- Participate in security audits and risk assessments to evaluate the organization's overall security posture
- Research emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques, and stay updated with industry best practices
- Document testing methodologies, procedures, and findings to improve testing standards and processes
- Assist in maintaining compliance with security frameworks and standards such as OWASP, CIS, and industry best practices
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
- Mandatory entry-level cybersecurity certifications such as:
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
- eJPT (eLearnSecurity Junior Penetration Tester)
- CompTIA Security+
- or other relevant entry-level security certifications
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and architectures
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and web applications
- Familiarity with security tools and frameworks such as:
- Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit
- Burp Suite, OWASP Top 10
- Understanding of common vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and remediation techniques
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
