French Teacher

Position: French Language Teacher

Job Summary

The Part-Time French Teacher will be responsible for teaching French as a second/foreign language to students of Grades 1–8. The role includes planning engaging lessons, developing language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing), and fostering cultural awareness while maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities Teaching & Learning

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate French lessons for Grades 1–8 as per curriculum requirements.
• Introduce students to basic vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and conversational skills.
• Use audio-visual aids, games, songs, stories, and interactive activities to enhance learning.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments suited to different grade levels.
• Encourage correct usage of spoken and written French through daily practice.

Classroom Management

• Maintain a disciplined, supportive, and student-friendly classroom environment.
• Address individual learning needs through differentiated instruction.
• Promote confidence, participation, and interest in learning the French language.

Assessment & Record Keeping

• Conduct periodic assessments, quizzes, oral tests, and written assignments.
• Maintain accurate academic records and share feedback with students and parents.
• Prepare grades, progress reports, and required documentation.

Professional Responsibilities

• Attend essential meetings, training workshops, and orientation sessions as required for part-time staff.
• Uphold school policies, values, and teaching standards.

Qualifications & Skills Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in French / French Language Certification (DELF A1–B2 preferred).
• B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred but not always mandatory).

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of French teaching experience (school or language institute).
• Experience teaching multiple grade levels (1–8) preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,566.10 - ₹35,000.00 per month
