We are growing a new team in Morgan Stanley Research, including about 20 new hires with little to no Python experience. We are looking for a highly capable python coder to spend 6 months designing and running a Python training to help these individuals become proficient in programming. They will:
1. Work with team leaders to design a curriculum both for individuals with no and with limited coding experience.
2. Run daily lessons and help proctor take-home exercises.
3. Track and report on progress.
If the program succeeds, there is an opportunity to join the team full time as a business-facing strat, leveraging Python to help drive quantitative techniques within the department, including data analytics, automated visualizations, and scalable tools.
