Freelance Video Editor

As a freelance video editor, you will work closely with our creative team to edit high-quality video content for [platforms, e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, website, ads, etc.]. This includes assembling recorded footage, adding graphics, transitions, music, and sound effects to create a polished final product.

Responsibilities:

Edit raw video footage into polished final cuts (short and long-form content)

Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, and effects as needed

Sync audio and apply sound effects/music tracks

Maintain brand consistency across all video content

Meet project deadlines and communicate clearly with the team

Incorporate feedback quickly and efficiently

Requirements:

Proven experience in video editing (portfolio or reel required)

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar software

Strong understanding of video formats, compression, and exporting best practices

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Attention to detail and a good sense of pacing and storytelling

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Experience editing for social media platforms (Reels, Shorts)

Basic animation or motion graphics skills

Familiarity with color grading and sound design.
