Role Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our Auto Retail and Dealership team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and providing strategic insights to support business growth and profitability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain exposure to the financial and operational aspects of the automotive retail industry in India. Key Responsibilities: 1. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Analyze variances between actual and forecasted performance and provide actionable recommendations. 2. Financial Analysis: Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate business opportunities. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across sales, inventory, and operational metrics specific to the Indian automotive retail sector. 3. Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management. Develop dashboards and summaries to track dealership and retail outlet performance. 4. Cost Optimization: Identify areas for cost control and operational efficiency in dealerships and retail operations. Monitor and evaluate capital expenditures to ensure alignment with financial objectives. 5. Business Partnering: Collaborate with sales, operations, and marketing teams to align financial strategies with business objectives. Provide financial insights to support decision-making and operational initiatives. 6. Data Management and Tools: Use financial systems, dashboards, and tools to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy. Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and internal policies. Key Requirements: • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the retail or automotive dealership sector. • Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CA/ICWA/MBA is a plus). • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. Familiarity with KPIs specific to the Indian retail and auto dealership industry, such as inventory turnover, vehicle gross margins, and service center profitability. • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights to stakeholders effectively. • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and detail orientation in financial reporting and analysis. • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
