We are a Singapore-based startup on a mission to transform wellness for professionals and students who spend long hours in front of screens. By harnessing cutting-edge technology, we track user habits, deliver actionable insights, and empower users to enhance their overall wellness.

Our core infrastructure is in place, and we are currently in the user testing phase. This is a rare opportunity to join a 0-to-1 journey and be a pivotal part of building a core deep-tech product from the ground up. You will be working alongside a small, highly experienced team of 6-7 engineers and product leaders, where your work will have a direct and immediate impact.

Our founders bring a wealth of experience from prestigious institutions like IIT Madras and NTU Singapore, with over 22 years of collective experience building and scaling fast-paced startups. Ishaan has successfully launched two venture-funded startups in Singapore, while Mehul has driven technology adoption for global giants like Amazon, Delivery Hero, and Flipkart across Europe and India. What You Will Build & Own

• On-Device CV Pipelines (Laptops & Desktops):

  Design, implement, and deploy local computer vision pipelines that run robustly on Mac/Win laptops across diverse webcams, lighting conditions, and hardware profiles.

• Training, Fine-Tuning & Evaluation

  : Own the full training loop from dataset curation and augmentation to model selection, fine-tuning, and evaluation with repeatable, well-tracked experiments and solid baselines.

• Labelled Dataset & Data Engine:

  Build and maintain a high-quality labelled dataset with clear schemas, labelling guidelines, QA, and privacy-respecting in-product data collection and pseudo-labelling flows.

• Right Tool for the Job:

  Classic CV + ML + Deep Learning: Use strong math and algorithms intuition to choose between classic CV, classic ML, and modern deep models, preferring deterministic, interpretable, lightweight methods when they meet performance needs.

• Performance & Systems Integration:

  Optimize models for low latency and low CPU/GPU usage while integrating inference cleanly into our Python/PyQt and C++ desktop app without blocking the UI.

• Solid Mathematical Foundation:

  Strong grasp of linear algebra, calculus, probability, optimization, and basic numerical methods, with comfort deriving and reasoning about algorithms rather than just calling APIs.

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Computer Vision & ML Proficiency

  : 2+ years of production CV/ML experience using PyTorch and/or TensorFlow plus OpenCV (or equivalent) to build, train, and ship real-world models.

• Deterministic Algorithms & Classic ML

  : Practical experience with deterministic, geometry-based, and rule-based methods (e.g., PnP, RANSAC, tracking, basic signal processing) and classic ML models, knowing when they beat heavy deep nets.

• On-Device Deployment Experience:

  Proven experience deploying models on real user devices with CPU/memory/battery constraints using runtimes like ONNX Runtime, TensorRT, CoreML, or OpenVINO.

• Data & Labelling Ownership:

  Experience designing and managing labelled datasets end-to-end, including guidelines, annotator workflows, QA, and data pipelines for aggregation, cleaning, and versioning.

• Engineering Discipline:

  Strong Python engineering skills with clean, modular, well-tested code and a habit of profiling, benchmarking, and measuring rather than guessing.

• Mindset & Collaboration

  : Enjoy debugging messy real-world edge cases, communicate clearly, and work closely with product, design, and desktop engineers in a small, fast-moving team.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):

Masters Degree in a CV/ML-related field plus prior experience with facial and pose landmark-based models and rPPG, human-centric CV tasks, C++ for performance-critical code, model conversion/optimization, labelling tools, and/or health-tech, wellness, ergonomics, or HCI.
