Forward Deployed Engineer - RAG and ML specialist Full Time Engineering Bengaluru, Karnataka, India About The Role As a Forward Deployed Engineer, at Sarvam, you ll build and deploy AI-powered solutions for real-world business problems. You ll work directly with customers to understand their challenges, develop technical solutions using Sarvam s platform, and take them from concept to production. This role sits between engineering, product, and customer success, meaning you ll need to make smart trade-offs about what to build, how to build it, and where AI can add the most value. Expect to work across the full stack, iterate fast, and adapt to new industries and technologies. Key Responsibilities Own & drive AI solution stacks in industries like collections, customer support, and sales enablement Serve as the technical bridge between customer needs and Sarvam s AI platform Make strategic product & engineering decisions: what to build, how to build, and what not to build Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications using Sarvam s APIs Work hands-on with customers to understand challenges & translate them into technical solutions Lead demos & pre-sales activities with enterprise prospects and partners Collaborate with product teams to refine Sarvam s platform based on real-world feedback What we re looking for Technical generalist with strong software engineering fundamentals Holistic thinker who focuses on solutions, not just implementation details Strong Python skills & hands-on experience with REST APIs 1-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in AI-powered applications Comfortable working across the full stack, with a bias for action Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and navigate ambiguity Strong communicator who can translate between business needs & technical execution Experience working directly with customers & delivering impactful solutions Why This Role Is Different This role isnt just about executing tasks or being confined to a specific technical domain.
