Role Overview

Food & Nutrition Officer

building and leading the food innovation and nutrition vertical

Key Responsibilities

• Product & Menu Innovation:
• Develop and test functional food and beverage products aligned with wellness and nutrition goals.
• Collaborate with food technologists and culinary experts to design innovative recipes using clean and natural ingredients.
• Nutrition Strategy & Guidelines:
• Build the nutritional framework for Kefilo’s offerings — from ready-to-eat foods to supplements.
• Define macronutrient/micronutrient balance and wellness outcomes for each product line.
• Research & Development:
• Lead R&D initiatives for new wellness products integrating science, taste, and technology.
• Collaborate with labs, dietitians, and universities for joint research projects and validation.
• Consumer & Corporate Wellness Programs:
• Create personalized nutrition plans and digital content for users, gyms, and wellness partners.
• Develop data-driven insights on nutrition trends, eating habits, and behavior change.
• Collaboration & Leadership:
• Work with the leadership team to align product innovation with business and brand goals.
• Mentor interns, nutritionists, and culinary team members in innovation and wellness communication.
  

Preferred Background

• Degree in Nutrition, Food Technology, or Dietetics (Masters preferred).
• Strong knowledge of functional foods, nutraceuticals, and wellness product development.
• Prior exposure to food startups, R&D labs, or wellness brands is an advantage.
• Passionate about blending science, creativity, and health impact.
