Floor Supervisor

Core responsibilities

• Team and workflow management:
• Manage and lead the technical team, providing technical input and support.
• Direct and schedule technician work to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor employee performance and productivity.
• Repair and quality control:
• Allocate job cards and monitor the progress of repairs across multiple bays.
• Ensure all repair work meets quality standards and is completed correctly.
• Conduct final inspections (like PDI) to ensure all jobs are complete before the vehicle is returned.
• Manage rework when necessary and communicate schedule changes.
• Operations and inventory:
• Ensure the availability of all necessary parts, spares, and consumables for repairs.
• Manage inventory and parts department orders.
• Ensure the shop floor is kept clean and well-maintained.
• Customer and insurance relations:
• Act as a point of contact for customers on the floor and handle their inquiries.
• Communicate estimated completion times to service advisors.
• Coordinate with insurance companies to process repair claims.
• Safety and compliance:
• Ensure a safe work environment and that safety equipment is available.
• Uphold aftersales service standards and promote customer satisfaction.
