Role & responsibilities Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service. Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and support to staff to improve their performance. Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations on the sales floor. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members. Customer Service: Ensure customers receive a high level of service, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Lead by example in delivering a positive and welcoming customer experience. Monitor customer traffic patterns and adjust staffing levels as needed. Sales & Performance Management: Monitor daily sales performance and work with the store manager to develop strategies to achieve sales goals. Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities to increase revenue. Assist in creating promotions or displays to drive product sales. Operational Excellence: Maintain high standards of visual merchandising to ensure the store is visually appealing and aligned with brand guidelines. Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and safe for both customers and employees. Assist in implementing store policies,procedures, and safety protocols. Store Opening and Closing Procedures: Manage opening and closing duties, including cash handling, store security, and ensuring all necessary procedures are followed. Reports & Administrative Tasks: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for store management. Assist in managing store budgets and expenses. Track employee attendance and ensure compliance with shift schedules. Preferred candidate profile Proven experience in a retail environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to maintain a positive attitude and remain calm under pressure. Basic understanding of sales and inventory management. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
