Role & responsibilities Overseeing the purchase and maintenance of fleet vehicles Managing all aspects of vehicle operation, including licensing, insurance, and warranty Planning and scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency Developing and implementing policies and procedures for vehicle use and maintenance Managing and tracking fuel consumption and expenses Coordinating with drivers to ensure optimal performance and address any issues Ensuring compliance with government rules and regulations related to fleet management Keeping accurate records of vehicle use and maintenance Organizing vehicle replacements and disposal when necessary Training staff in safe and efficient vehicle operation Optimizing fleet operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs Implementing strategies for sustainable fleet management, including reducing fuel consumption and emissions Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations and support overall business objectives Ensuring drivers have knowledge of terrain and road conditions to enhance route planning and safety Advising on best practices for driving in various terrains and weather conditions Preferred candidate profile Proven work experience as a Fleet Manager or similar role Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills Attention to detail to ensure records are kept as needed Exceptional interpersonal skills to work with various departments A bachelors degree in logistics or accounting is preferred Relevant training and/or certifications as a Fleet Manager Knowledge of terrain and road conditions relevant to the fleet's operating areas Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and negotiation skills Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair Familiarity with GPS and fleet management software Ability to analyze data to increase business operational efficiency Experience with fleet optimization techniques Understanding of sustainable fleet management practices Expertise in navigating various terrains and road conditions Contact Us hr@susquare.in or 9567067001
