Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage daily sales operations across all territories. • Monitor sales performance, set monthly/quarterly targets, and ensure consistent achievement. • Forecast market trends and analyse customer demand to adjust strategies accordingly. • RSM should demonstrate the ability to consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets. • Ensure focus not only on achieving targets but also on improving overall profit margins. • Evaluate sales techniques and processes regularly to improve effectiveness. • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans specific to the printing and packaging industry. • Identify and seize new market opportunities to boost product visibility and revenue. • Work closely with the marketing team to design effective promotional campaigns and advertising. • Leverage market trends to create innovative strategies for product positioning. Operations Manager – Offset Printing & Packaging Position Overview The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire production and operations cycle in the offset printing and packaging industry. This role ensures efficient planning, execution, quality control, and delivery of printing and packaging jobs while optimizing resources, meeting deadlines, and maintaining customer satisfaction. The position requires strong leadership, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination to achieve operational excellence. Key Responsibilities 1. Production & Operations Management Plan, organize, and control all activities in prepress, press, and post-press departments. Ensure smooth workflow from order receipt to final dispatch. Monitor daily production schedules and allocate resources (manpower, machines, and materials). Achieve production targets with cost efficiency and minimum downtime. 2. Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements. Implement and monitor quality control processes across all departments. Drive initiatives for process improvements and defect reduction. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and environmental norms. 3. Team Leadership & Workforce Management Lead, train, and motivate department supervisors and production staff. Build a performance-driven culture with accountability and teamwork. Address manpower requirements, shift planning, and skill development. 4. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination Coordinate with purchase and stores for timely availability of raw materials, inks, paper, and packaging substrates. Maintain optimum stock levels and minimize wastage. Work closely with vendors for materials and outsourcing needs. 5. Customer Focus & Delivery Liaise with the sales and client servicing teams to understand job specifications. Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products. Handle escalations and resolve operational bottlenecks to maintain customer satisfaction. 6. Continuous Improvement & Cost Control Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement. Implement lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and efficiency enhancement initiatives. Optimize utilization of machines, materials, and manpower. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Printing Technology, Packaging, Production Management, or related field. Minimum 8–12 years of experience in offset printing & packaging operations, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of prepress, printing (offset), finishing, and packaging processes. Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
