Description
As an Associate III - Semiconductor Product Validation at UST, you will play a vital role in the development of system test plans, test cases, and automation of various modules/products like compute, accelerators, and GPUs for Data Centers or Cloud environments. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with silicon, platform hardware, and firmware teams to create test content based on product requirements, developing automation for the test content, and ensuring that the product meets quality criteria, spec adherence, as well as project schedules and timelines. You should have solid experience in systems engineering, specifically in embedded systems qualification and validation, system level integration, automation framework (e.g., Robot Framework), and debugging of system software. A good understanding of hardware bus interfaces, system design, and reading schematics is essential. Familiarity with network/system management tools like IPMI, BMC, SNMP, BIOS, Device Drivers, and High Availability is preferred. Proficiency in Python for automation scripting using the Robot framework is required. Your role will involve creating system test cases, test plans, developing test content, automating execution, generating test reports, and debugging/triaging observed failures. Experience in creating automated testing pipelines, CI/CD systems, and processes is advantageous. You should also possess in-depth experience in system level debugging and managing production-level issues effectively. Key Skills required for this role include Firmware Validation, Python, SMTK, Hardware Validation, and Scripting. Additionally, having hardware knowledge for tool development of SMTK - Hardware Diagnostics, low-level/embedded programming experience, and understanding of computer hardware architecture/components are must-have experiences.
