Key Responsibilities: Firmware Development: Design, develop, and maintain firmware for 32-bit microcontrollers (preferably STM32 ) in C . RTOS & Bare Metal Programming: Work on both bare metal and RTOS-based firmware development to meet project requirements. IoT Protocol Implementation: Implement and optimize IoT communication protocols such as HTTP(s), MQTT, and Bluetooth (including BLE) . Serial Communication Handling: Develop firmware for USB, UART (RS232, RS485), I2C, and SPI for seamless device communication. LCD Screen Integration: Write efficient firmware to support and interact with LCD screens , ensuring smooth and responsive UI/UX. Hardware & Firmware Integration: Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with embedded systems and perform unit testing. Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware/software integration issues through detailed debugging and unit testing . Performance Optimization: Ensure firmware is optimized for memory, power efficiency, and real-time processing . Gateway Communication: Develop firmware for seamless Bluetooth, BLE, and IoT gateway integration . GPS Tracking & Asset Tracking Applications: Work on GPS trackers , tracking-based applications , and real-world use cases related to location tracking, geofencing, and real-time telemetry . Develop firmware that enables accurate position tracking, sensor data processing, and power-efficient tracking solutions for large-scale deployments. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in firmware development for embedded systems . Strong proficiency in C, C++, and Micropython for embedded development. Experience developing firmware for 32-bit microcontrollers (STM32 preferred) . Solid experience with RTOS development . Expertise in IoT protocols such as HTTP(s), MQTT, and BLE . Strong understanding of serial communication protocols including USB, UART (RS232, RS485), I2C, and SPI . Experience working with LCD screens and optimizing firmware for display-based applications. Familiarity with unit testing and debugging of embedded systems. Hands-on experience with GPS tracking applications , real-time tracking firmware , and handling GPS data for IoT solutions . Highly Desirable Skills: Expertise in Embedded C and STM32 development . Experience working with external flash memory in embedded systems. Hands-on experience with IoT gateway technologies . Strong experience in optimizing firmware for GPS tracking devices . Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills . Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects. Excellent team collaboration and communication skills .
