Fire & Safety Officer

Job Description

Organize regular safety education programs and safety campaigns to promote safety awareness amongst persons employed in the location. Ensure that all new workers and temporary workers receive adequate training in safety, firefighting and first aid. Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections. Responsible for maintaining detailed records related to Safety and other statutory Compliances. Knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations. Upkeep for Life Saving Equipment and Fire Fighting Equipment and System. Compliance to oil mining rules / oil industry safety directorate rules. Safety culture & Conduct risk assessment. Conduct Mock drill exercise as required by OMR / OISD
