Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Test Engineer who will be responsible for quality process in our projects. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in the test case design, test planning, testing of systems developed by the company, test automation and reporting of test results. In addition, responsibilities will include working closely with the development teams, throughout the product development lifecycle, to define tests for functionalities and performance, and will also be responsible for development of test frameworks. Job Responsibilities: Knowledge of various testing techniques and the ability to use them in practice Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Intermediate programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python Hands-on experience in frontend, API and/or database test automation: Selenium, Cypress, Serenity BDD, REST API testing, Cucumber Experience with defect tracking/management tools such as JIRA. Demonstrated experience with industry standard Quality Assurance best practices for Agile and Iterative SDLCs, testing methodologies, implementation, and deployment activities. Experience in every-day use of version control system (TFS, git) Experience in testing in a continuous integration environment Jenkins/TeamCity, Maven Basic knowledge of SQL Working experience in creating test documentation (Test Plan, test report, basic test metrics) Experience in working with requirements As a consultant, ability to effectively cooperate with the client and/or end users Fluent English in speech and writing (frequent communication with English-speaking clients) Key Skills: Engineering Degree in any Discipline or Master in Computer Science. 2-3 years’ experience as Test Engineer role. Experience in performing performance tests using dedicated tools (e.g. Jmeter) Experience in performing usability and/or security tests Experience in mobile testing, cloud migration testing or data integrity testing Ability to design test strategy for a project Demonstrable leadership abilities.
