Finishing Engineer

Role – Finishing Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Project supervision and coordination: Manage all finishing activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Quality control: Implement quality management systems and conduct regular inspections to ensure all finishing work, such as tiling, painting, false ceilings, wood works & MEP works which meets the project's standards.
• Technical expertise: Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, and have a strong understanding of different finishing materials and their quality parameters.
• Planning and scheduling: Prepare and manage schedules for finishing work, monitor progress against project milestones, and ensure timely availability of materials and manpower.
• Documentation and reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, maintain accurate records, and manage the "snag list" of defects.
• Material management: Check the quality of all incoming materials, ensure proper storage, and coordinate to issue material to vendors as required.

Required skills and qualifications

Education: A Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Technical skills:

In-depth knowledge of finishing trades like masonry, tiling, painting, waterproofing, false ceilings, wood works, aluminium works, internal MEP works.

Soft skills:

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to coordinate with different teams. Well versed of computer software's like Autocad, M.S. Office
• Experience: Proven experience in managing finishing works on residential projects is often required. ( 7 -10 years)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹780,000.00 per year
