The Head of Business Development will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company's business. You will be responsible for developing and managing sponsorship programs that align with the company's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Business Development: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and potential partnerships. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders. Lead and mentor the business development team to enhance performance and achieve targets. Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategic decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align business development efforts with company goals. Prepare and present business proposals and reports to senior management and stakeholders. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions. Key Responsibilities Sponsorship: This role involves identifying potential sponsors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the successful execution of sponsorship agreements. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship management skills, a keen understanding of marketing strategies, and experience in event management. Develop and implement a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to drive revenue and enhance brand visibility. Identify and cultivate relationships with potential sponsors, including corporations, foundations, and other organizations. Negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts to maximize value for both the company and sponsors. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, events, and communications, to ensure successful execution of sponsorship initiatives. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sponsorship programs, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement. Manage the sponsorship budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and tracking of expenses. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in sponsorship and partnership development. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote sponsorship opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. 7+ years of experience in business development and sponsorship or a related field, with a proven track record of success. Key Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically. Proficiency in market research and analysis tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel as needed.,
