Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements/reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and operational insights
Review of accounts and guiding the Plant & HO level team members on accounting aspects
Review and analysis of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and variance analysis between Actual and Budgets
Co-ordination with statutory auditors and internal auditors on audit related aspects, attending their observations and completion of audit within the time lines
Participating in strengthening the ERP Processes, masters data, new modules implementation, reports etc., and maintaining the accuracy in accounts and various ERP reports
Statutory compliances i.e. Companies act, MSME etc., and co-ordination with company secretary
Fixed Assets capitalisation and maintenance of fixed assets register
Review & posting of employee benefits / provisions
Analyse financial data to provide recommendations on improving financial performance, cost management, and profitability. Drive cost control initiatives by analysing cost structures and identifying areas for improvement
Provide financial support for capital investment evaluations, ROI analysis, and cost-benefit assessments for new projects or investments

Education & Experiences

Chartered Accountant.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in Financial Reporting, FP&A, or similar roles, preferably in the manufacturing sector (experience in steel manufacturing is a plus).
