Job Description

Functions: 1. Financial Planning and Analysis : Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with the company's goals and objectives. Conduct financial analysis to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations to senior management for decision-making. 2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. Provide insights and analysis on financial performance to aid in strategic decision-making. 3. Cash Flow Management: Oversee the organization's cash flow and ensure adequate availability of funds to meet operational requirements. Monitor and analyze cash flow statements, streamline cash management processes, and develop strategies to optimize cash flow. 4. Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks for the company and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor the effectiveness of risk management processes and controls, and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures. 5. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and implement improvements as necessary. 6. Team Leadership: Manage and lead the finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. 7. Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, auditors, and suppliers. Ensure effective communication and coordination with internal departments to support financial operations. 8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and statutory requirements, including tax compliance, corporate governance, and financial accounting standards. Core Skills & Competencies: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance function of a company. In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial software and systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong leadership and team management skills.
