Job Description

Job Objective: Responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements of the Unit. Leading team of warehouse, dispatch. Primary Responsibilities Setting, running and ensuring operational efficiency of unit by monitoring and analyzing variance Ensuring appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained Checking and verification of all types of PO, invoices and payments relating to material received/stored/dispatched Cane accounting- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions and units performance compared to the business plans Verifying financial transactions done in ERP and reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information Closure of books on monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Participation in finalization of accounts and coordinate with Internal and Statutory Auditors. Assist in preparation of the budget and periodic projections Overlooking compliance related to various taxes including GST Preparation of periodical MIS reports and competitor/Industry mapping Set up budgets, cash low, preparation of stock statement and reconciliation to ensure monitoring Responsible for inter-unit reconciliation activities and coordinate with various consultants, agencies, stakeholders, associates for filing of statutory returns. Guiding, mentoring and developing team under Knowledge and Skills required Chartered accountant/Experience professional with minimum 10 years of work experience, preferably CA, from Sugar or allied industries Analytical mindset with ability to analyze and interpret data Strong interpersonal skills to liaison with various departments within the unit Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities High level of flexibility and adaptability to change Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
