Financial Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for company-wide forecasting, budgeting, and accounting , as well as assisting with project budgets to support financial decision-making and strategic planning. This role requires strong financial acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to analyze large datasets to generate meaningful insights and reports. Key Roles & Responsibilities Develop financial models to predict revenue, expenses, and profitability. Analyze historical financial data to identify trends and variances. Provide financial projections to assist with business planning and decision-making. Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Monitor budget performance and analyze variances. Collaborate with different departments to ensure budget alignment with business goals. Support project managers in preparing and managing project budgets. Track project expenditures against budgeted costs and highlight variances. Provide financial insights to ensure projects remain within budget constraints. Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes. Ensure accuracy in financial statements and compliance with accounting principles. Prepare financial reports and reconcile accounts. Qualifications and Experience Masters degree in related field and/or experience aligned to the role. An advanced degree or professional certification (CFA) is a plus. Strong proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and forecasting techniques. Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail, along with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools. Familiarity with accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes. Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Self-driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must be flexible and available to collaborate with US-based team as needed.
