Responsible for supporting technology working as part of the finance systems team who maintain and supports the majority of the legacy finance systems providing financial and managerial information business requirements. As part of the team works closely with the technical IT team, ensures systems are maintained and managed, executes month end processes in a timely and consistent manner, ensuring integrity of integrations and data. Ensures finance audits are supported and lessons learnt are carried forward. You’ll Be Responsible For Supports the administration, management and maintenance of finance systems utilising technology skills. Assists working with the finance department across the business, to interpret user requirements and translate into accounting system solutions. Supports with the implementation and testing of existing and new system functionality. Maintains documentation and reference manuals in accordance with system updates and policies and procedures. Contributes to the development of accounting processes and best practices (Business Analysis). Assists in driving continuous improvement in the use of accounting systems and associated packages. Provides coaching and/or support to junior members of the team. Develops working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders. Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
