Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance team to work on GST filing, TDS computation and compliance, and related accounting support. This role provides hands-on experience with statutory compliance and finance operations in a startup environment. Prior internship experience in GST filing and TDS compliance is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, reconciliation, and timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
• Support GST input tax credit reconciliation and proper documentation maintenance.
• Compute, deduct, and facilitate TDS payment and filing of TDS returns.
• Maintain tax-related records and assist in audits and statutory compliance.
• Assist finance manager in monthly and yearly closing related to statutory filings.
• Use Tally ERP and Excel/Google Sheets for record keeping and report preparation.
• Coordinate with external consultants or Chartered Accountants as required.
• Ensure adherence to GST, TDS, and other tax laws to avoid penalties.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory).
• Prior internship experience in GST filing, TDS computation, and statutory compliance is required.
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian tax compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Tally ERP and proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
