Job Description

Position: Finance Executive Department: Finance & Accounts Location: Magic District Reporting To: Finance Manager / General Manager Role OverviewThe Finance Executive will manage the day-to-day financial operations of Magic District, including accounting, GST & TDS compliance, payroll processing, vendor payments, statutory filings, and internal financial reporting. This role ensures smooth financial discipline and accurate documentation across all concepts within Magic District. Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & BookkeepingMaintain daily books of accounts in Tally/Zoho/ERP. Record sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries accurately. Perform daily reconciliation of cash, POS, and bank transactions. Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports. 2. GST CompliancePrepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B). Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase invoices. Ensure correct GST input credit claiming. Maintain documentation required for GST audits. 3. TDS ComplianceDeduct TDS correctly for vendors, salaries, contracts, rent, etc. File monthly TDS returns and generate Form 16/16A. Handle TDS reconciliation and correct challan payments. 4. Payroll, PF & ESIProcess monthly payroll, attendance, and overtime. Manage PF & ESI calculations and filings. Upload contributions to EPFO/ESIC portals on time. Maintain employee salary records and statutory registers. 5. Vendor & Expense ManagementVerify vendor bills, negotiate payments with timelines. Process payments via online banking and maintain supporting documents. Track advances, reimbursements, and petty cash. 6. Compliance & AuditsAssist in statutory audits, internal audits, and mall-level compliance checks. Maintain proper documentation of licenses, agreements, and finance-related records. 7. Management ReportingPrepare weekly & monthly MIS (revenue, expenses, cash flow). Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance (B.Com, M.Com, MBA preferred). 2–4 years experience in accounts, GST, TDS, and payroll. Hands-on knowledge of Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software. Good understanding of PF, ESI, PT, GST Act, Income Tax Act. Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables). Attention to detail, confidentiality, and timely execution. Key CompetenciesStrong analytical and numerical skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet statutory deadlines. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ownership mindset and problem-solving attitude.
