JOB DESCRIPTION FORM Job Title : Finance Executive Department: Finance Job Category : Executive Reports to: Team leader/ Finance Manager EU Interfaces with : Frequent contact with stakeholders abroad Type of position: Full-time Purpose/ Goals: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our team. At EDL, we value teamwork, professionalism and continuous learning. Key responsibilities You are responsible for daily accurate and professional accounting tasks together. Execute routine accounting duties, such as maintaining ledgers and documenting financial transactions. Compile bank statements and verify that the information about finances is accurate. Assist in the preparation of reports and financial statements. Work together with your colleagues to make sure that rules and standards related to accounting are followed. Help with the processes related to accounts payable and accounts receivable. Financial data can be entered and retrieved using accounting software. Participate in forecasting and budgeting procedures. Contribute in internal and external audits by supplying the required records. Back up for your team members You communicate and align with various other departments Knowledge, skills & Experience Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline. Experience: 1.Minimum 1-3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience 2.Shipping & Logistics industry Knowledge, skills & abilities : Strong grasp of financial concepts and accounting principles. (Strong technical accounting knowledge) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting applications. Excellent writing and vocal communication skills in Dutch and English Outstanding organizing, prioritizing and detail-oriented abilities Capacity to cooperate with others in a group setting. A desire to pick up new skills and adjust to new challenges.
