Job Description

Prior experience in an MNC is preferred. Role & responsibilities Position Summary: The ideal candidate should have a strong background in local billing, taxation, MIS, payroll, GST, and TDS filing while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. Prior experience working in multinational corporations (MNCs) is essential. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Strategy & Planning Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the Group's objectives. Provide financial insights and guidance to the Board and senior leadership for decision-making. Ensure alignment of financial strategies with overall business objectives and long-term growth plans. 2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Management Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and models to support decision-making. Monitor and control costs, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost optimization. Conduct financial analysis to improve operational efficiencies and profitability. 3. Financial Reporting & Compliance Present accurate financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) to management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards. 4. Taxation, GST, TDS & Regulatory Compliance Oversee timely and accurate GST and TDS filings to ensure compliance with statutory regulations. Ensure proper documentation for taxation, customs duty, and compliance with transfer pricing regulations. Work closely with auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors to manage tax planning and regulatory matters. 5. Cash Flow, Risk & Treasury Management Forecast and manage cash flow to meet financial obligations and ensure liquidity. Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency exchange and market volatility. Develop contingency plans to manage unforeseen financial challenges. Manage bank facilities, loans, and multi-currency transactions, ensuring optimal financial structuring. 6. Import, Export & Trading Operations Ensure financial compliance in import/export transactions, including BOE, customs duty, and tariff codes. Optimize working capital by managing trade finance instruments and banking relationships. Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to streamline financial processes in international trade. 7. Audit & Governance Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and adherence to financial best practices. Ensure financial records are audit-ready and meet statutory compliance requirements. 8. Leadership & Team Development Build and lead a high-performing finance team to support the India operations. Mentor and train finance teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Drive automation and process improvements to enhance financial efficiency. Preferred candidate profile Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 10 years Preferred Candidate: Female candidates preferred Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting. Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws, GST, and TDS. Experience in MIS reporting and payroll processing. Ability to work independently and take full ownership of financial operations. Prior experience in an MNC environment is preferred. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
