Job Description

Job Summary: The Finance Controller will be responsible for managing the companys financial health by overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance. The role will also include active fundraising management, financial risk mitigation, and strategic planning for business expansion, both domestic and international. Key Responsibilities: Oversee financial operations, including accounting, financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and MIS reports. Develop and implement internal financial controls and policies to enhance financial stability. Monitor and manage working capital, including receivables, payables, and inventory control. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, etc.). Liaise with auditors, banks, and financial institutions. Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making and operational efficiencies. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize financial efficiencies. Oversee taxation, including tax planning, returns filing, and audits. Lead and mentor the finance team for operational excellence. Credit Control Management: Implement and oversee policies to ensure healthy credit exposure, reduce overdue receivables, and improve collection efficiency. Business Expansion & Global Finance: Lead financial structuring for international expansions, forex risk management, and overseas financial compliance. Fundraising & Investor Relations: Develop and execute financial strategies to secure funding, manage investor relationships, and explore new financial partnerships. Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and mitigate financial risks related to market fluctuations, forex exposure, and credit control. Board-Level Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, business forecasts, and strategic insights to the board and senior leadership. Key Requirements: CA/MBA (Finance) with 10-12 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or electrical industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, credit control, and financial regulations. Proven experience in fundraising, investor relations, and risk management . Proficiency in ERP software, financial modeling, and data analysis. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
