Finance Associate

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to support our treasury and financial operations through data collection, reporting, and analysis. The role involves evaluating DeFi opportunities to enhance yield, collaborating with stakeholders on budgeting and P&L preparation across blockchains, assisting in FinOps activities like invoicing and payouts, and driving automation and cost optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate is a qualified CA (preferably from a Big 4) or MBA in Finance from a Tier-1 B-school, with at least 1 year of experience in auditing, accounting, or FP&A, and a strong interest in blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized finance.

Roles & Responsibility:

• Data collection & report preparation for treasury positions to facilitate treasury reviews by leadership.
• Evaluating and proposing opportunities over DeFi protocols that enhance yield while keeping risk under check.
• Interacting & liaising with stakeholders to prepare monthly operating budget, performing variance analysis, identifying trends.
• Work closely with different stakeholders to gather details relevant for the preparation of the monthly P&L statements across various blockchains.
• Taking up FinOps activities like assisting in invoicing, payouts and unlocks.
• Conducting need based analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Automation of data collection processes, identifying areas for cost optimizations, streamlining business processes & reporting methods.

Requirements:

• Qualified CA, preferably from a Big4 firm or a MBA Finance from a Tier 1 B-school.
• Experience of 1+ years in auditing/accounting, financial planning and analysis (FPA).
• Ability to manage time well, attention to detail & analytical skills.
• Strong interest and basic understanding of Blockchains, Cryptocurrencies & Decentralized Finance.
