Finance Associate

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing accurate and timely processing of all transactions, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, cash, and commission. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing, producing, and reviewing management accounts on a monthly basis, including variance analysis to budget/forecast. You will also assist in the preparation of monthly commentary and financial reports, review performance against KPIs, and lead the local year-end audit process. Key Responsibilities: - Manage accurate and timely processing of all transactions - Prepare, produce, and review management accounts on a monthly basis - Assist in the preparation of monthly commentary and financial reports - Review performance against KPIs in conjunction with the Finance Manager - Lead the local year-end audit process - Provide information required for the group audit process - Prepare and file local sales tax returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings - Ensure accurate revenue recognition - Manage credit control processes - Advise the business on financial issues - Liaise with external accountants, service providers, and third parties Qualifications Required: - CA Inter/Article ship or Internship Completed with a good Chartered Accountancy firm - Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience - Strong management accounting, forecasting, and statutory accounting experience - Experience with maintaining financial models using Microsoft Excel - Experience in preparing for external audit Additional Company Details: The company is located in Mumbai (Andheri) and offers health insurance benefits.
