Role & responsibilities Accounting and Reporting support and Reviews. Support and perform preliminary review for the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Prepare and update accurate financial records in Zoho books, including journal entries and reconciliations as well as maintenance of prepaid and provision workings for Private limited companies. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports for Private limited companies. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Assist in managing accounts receivable and payable processes and Fixed Asset register for Private limited companies. Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies. Setting up new and monitoring existing financial controls, ensuring that the reports generated are in line with business activity and performing analytical review procedure. Compliance and Audit: Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation for external auditors for Private limited companies. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Support internal audit processes, suggest and implement recommendations for improvement. Keeping abreast with recent statutory changes primarily surrounding taxation and corporate laws. Actively research about applicable legal provisions and compliance requirement to suggest best practices. Treasury and Payments Management: Execute timely payments to vendors and service providers Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and financial regulations Liaise with vendors, consultants, bankers and regulatory bodies Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and support business initiatives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic goals. Assist in special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices. Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes. Preferred candidate profile Working knowledge of Zoho and MS Office suite. Structured thinking and organised work approach Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Attention to detail and accuracy in financial management and reporting Self-reflective and growth oriented
