Role Overview: As a skilled specialist with 6+ years of experience in accounting and finance, you will contribute to the development of new concepts and techniques. Your expertise in the general and technical aspects of the job will be crucial for completing assignments in innovative and effective ways. Working on highly complex assignments that require a strong degree of initiative and technical knowledge to resolve problems independently is a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you may supervise the activities of other non-exempt employees. Key Responsibilities: - Own and execute accounting processes within your area of expertise. - Perform complex analysis of transactional accounting information to support decision making. - Act as the first escalation point of contact for complex systems or policy issues related to your area of expertise. - Lead the implementation of new corporate-wide accounting processes and systems. - Proactively identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations. - Implement and ensure effective business controls through review, analysis, and verification. - Assist in training and mentoring the department team. - Lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and communication of procedures to ensure compliance with accounting policies.
