Job Description

As a Field Trainee Technician/Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer service across assigned regions. Your responsibilities will include: - **Installation & Commissioning:** - Assisting in the installation, configuration, and commissioning of equipment, systems, or solutions at client sites. - Ensuring proper calibration and testing before handover. - **Maintenance & Troubleshooting:** - Performing routine preventive and corrective maintenance. - Diagnosing and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime. - Escalating complex problems to higher-level support when required. - **Customer Support:** - Acting as the first point of contact for clients during field visits. - Providing training and guidance to customers on system usage. - Maintaining professional communication and ensuring customer satisfaction. - **Documentation & Reporting:** - Maintaining accurate records of site activities, service reports, and client feedback. - Preparing and submitting necessary service reports and checklists, duly acknowledged by the customer. - Updating system logs, service history, and escalating recurring issues. - **Collaboration & Compliance:** - Coordinating with internal teams (engineering, sales, and support) for seamless service delivery. - Following all safety protocols and compliance requirements during field operations. - **Learning & Development:** - Attending trainings as and when nominated. - Continuously enhancing technical knowledge and developing expertise to grow into senior roles. - **Work Flexibility:** - Being available to work during weekends and extended hours when required; compensatory off will be provided as per company policy. **Qualifications & Skills:** - ITI, Bachelors/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Science / relevant discipline). - Excellent communication and customer-handling skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments. - Willingness to travel extensively and work in diverse environments. - Two-wheeler with driving license is mandatory.
