Field Supervisor - QA

Field Monitoring:

• Regularly visit and monitor seed production plots for field crops and vegetable crops.

• Record observations on crop growth, pest/disease incidence, and field management practices.

• Ensure adherence to crop-specific agronomic practices and isolation standards.

Isolation:

• Verify and maintain required isolation distances between different varieties and crops.

Rouging:

• Identify and remove off-types, diseased, or undesirable plants during different crop stages.

• Maintain proper documentation of rouging operations.

GPS Cross-Check (Area Measurement):

• Conduct GPS-based field measurements to confirm actual sowing area.

• Update and validate field records and maps for accuracy.

GOT (Grow-Out Test):

• Collect seed samples from production lots for grow-out testing.

• Monitor GOT plots for genetic purity and varietal confirmation.

• Record and report GOT results to the QA/Production team.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain daily/weekly monitoring reports and field observation data.

• Coordinate with production and QA teams for corrective actions and record submission.
