Field Service Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Attend on-site breakdowns, diagnose issues, and perform necessary repairs on Ingersoll Rand air compressors. Identify and source required spare parts for repairs and maintenance. Maintain detailed records of all service and maintenance activities. Ensure timely communication with customers and obtain approval before carrying out repairs. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients. Travel to client locations as required for on-site service assignments. Desired Candidate Profile: Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Experience: 1 to 3+ years of experience in servicing air compressors (Ingersoll Rand experience preferred). Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of reciprocating air compressors and large reciprocating compressor systems. Proven track record of fault diagnosis and repair. Familiarity with tools and instruments used in compressor servicing. Other Requirements: Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Strong sense of responsibility and customer focus
