Field Service Engineer - nationwide

Role Overview: Your mission is to expand Atlas Copco's presence and business growth in the area of responsibility. The vision is to be recognized as the number one service organization in the compressed air industry, delivering reliable and innovative compressed air services to maintain and increase customers" productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure well-maintained compressed air installations with increased reliability - Guarantee maximum uptime through fast and professional service response - Reduce total operating costs by optimizing energy efficiency and offering service plan agreements for optimal compressor operations - Manage business activities of your team or yourself, following activity goals of all organizations you belong to - Conduct interventions (maintenance, repair, start & commissioning, inspection, investigation) to ensure maximum efficiency, minimum downtime, and energy savings - Provide clear external and internal reports on work results, business activities, and cost - Participate in suggesting continuous improvements and acquire skills and knowledge for high-quality services - Learn negotiation skills, team management, and company structures and rules - Collaborate actively with colleagues to provide high-quality services and support superiors, colleagues, and juniors - Travel around Japan for business as needed Qualification Requirements: - Educational requirements: High School level education or above - Experience in service business, preferably with visiting work experience or maintenance work of industrial machines - Knowledge of fluent Japanese and basic English, Microsoft programs, and willingness to learn other necessary software - Personality requirements: Ability to travel, flexibility, positive attitude, strong commitment to customer service, effective communication skills, passion for mission, collaborative work approach Additional Details: The job location is a mobile office close to customers" factories in 5 regions nationwide: Tohoku, East Japan, Tokai-Hokuriku, Kinki-Shikoku, West Japan.
