Field Service Engineer- Medical devices

You are sought after to take on the role of a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer. Your primary responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting medical equipment at various healthcare facilities. You should possess a solid technical background, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to delivering exceptional service to ensure optimal equipment performance and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Installation & Commissioning: You will be responsible for installing and calibrating medical devices (such as Monitors, ECG, Syringe pump, etc.) at client sites following manufacturer specifications. - Maintenance & Repair: Your duties will involve performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring timely resolutions to minimize downtime. - Technical Support: Providing on-site and remote support to clients, addressing operational issues and user concerns effectively. - Training: Conducting training sessions for end-users (doctors, nurses, technicians) on proper usage and basic troubleshooting of equipment. - Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate service reports, logs, and equipment history while updating CRM/service management tools. - Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all service activities comply with industry standards, company policies, and healthcare safety regulations. - Spare Parts Management: Managing spare parts inventory and coordinating with the supply team for part requisitions. Qualifications & Skills: - Diploma/ITI/Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field. - 3-5 years of field service experience in the medical device industry is preferred. - Familiarity with critical care equipment is a must. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently. - Willingness to travel across the assigned region.
