Company: Adhi Vinayagar Enterprises Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Work Location: Coimbatore / Karur Job Purpose: The Field Service Engineer will perform on-site technical service, installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems for our customers. This role ensures operational excellence through prompt response, high quality workmanship, strong customer engagement, and adherence to safety & service standards. Key Roles & Responsibilities: ·        Carry out installation, commissioning, repair, preventive maintenance and servicing of assigned equipment/systems in the field. ·        Diagnose technical faults, troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner. ·        Serve as the primary on-site interface with customers, delivering professional service, resolving issues and ensuring high satisfaction. ·        Liaise with service scheduling/dispatch teams to plan, execute and document field jobs in line with customer requirements and company standards. ·        Maintain accurate records of all service calls: job reports, maintenance logs, materials used, customer feedback and follow-up actions. ·        Ensure adequate stock of spare parts, tools and consumables in service vehicle or assigned area; coordinate with parts/supply teams as needed. ·        Provide customer training or technical support where required to optimise system usage and performance. ·        Adhere to all company policies, health-safety regulations, on-site safety protocols and industry compliance requirements. ·        Report any equipment or system improvements, recurring service issues, or opportunities for upgrades to the Service Manager or relevant department. ·        Demonstrate continuous improvement mindset: stay updated on new equipment, technologies and service practices. Required Skills & Competencies: ·        Strong technical aptitude: good understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electro‐mechanical systems relevant to our business. ·        Excellent problem‐solving and fault‐diagnosis skills in field conditions. ·        Good communication and customer-service orientation: able to engage with clients professionally and clearly. ·        Ability to work independently in the field, manage own tasks, and respond effectively under pressure. ·        Good documentation and reporting skills; competence with MS Office (Word, Excel) and service-reporting tools. ·        Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites regularly as required. Qualifications & Experience: ·        Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile / Relevant discipline) or equivalent. ·        3 – 5 years (or preferably more) of field service experience, ideally in installation/maintenance/repair of technical equipment/systems. ·        Experience in [insert relevant industry: e.g., automobiles, forklift, construction equipment, heavy machinery, industrial automation, HVAC] is an advantage. ·        Familiarity with safe working practices, field tools, spare parts management, and service documentation.
