Job Title: Field Sales Officer / Sales Officer / Sales Representative / Territory Sales Executive Department: Sales / Marketing / Business Development Reports To: Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Team Leader Location: Nashik, Maharashtra, India (This is a primary field-based role requiring extensive daily travel within Nashik city, Nashik district, and potentially nearby areas). Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and target-driven Field Sales Officer to drive direct sales and expand our customer base in the assigned territory within Nashik. The ideal candidate will be responsible for actively engaging with potential and existing customers, understanding their needs, effectively presenting our products/services, and achieving individual sales targets through persistent field visits and relationship building. This role is crucial for our market penetration and revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Direct Sales & Customer Acquisition: Actively travel to assigned territories daily to meet potential customers (B2B or B2C, depending on industry) and convert leads into sales. Conduct cold calls, door-to-door visits, and on-site meetings to identify new business opportunities. Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers using compelling arguments and product knowledge. Explain product features, benefits, and pricing structures clearly and persuasively. Target Achievement: Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within scheduled timeframes. Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales, and status reports. Stay updated on product launches and new features. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and offering suitable solutions. Address customer questions, concerns, and complaints effectively and promptly to ensure satisfaction. Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to share with the sales management team. Market Intelligence & Reporting: Keep abreast of competitive activities, pricing strategies, and market trends within the territory. Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly activity reports, sales forecasts, and expense reports accurately and on time. Utilize CRM software or reporting tools to record customer interactions, update lead status, and manage sales pipelines. Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products/services, including their technical specifications, pricing, and competitive advantages.
