Position/Role Name: Field Operations - Warehouse Department: Logistics Location: Kolhapur (Shiroli) Experience Required: 0-2 Years Highest Qualification: Bachelor's in any stream Gender Preference: Male candidates only Number of Positions: 1 Type of Working: Office Role Description: The role and responsibilities are maintaining warehouse arrangements along with ensuring at right cost right time labours availability. It also includes managing bill modifications, billing processes, loading and unloading of goods, warehouse maintenance, and handling weighment billing. Additionally, the role involves managing vehicle clearances at customer locations and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. Strong interpersonal skills, vendor management, customer service, and effective communication are critical to the success of this role. The role involves a balanced mix of 50% fieldwork and 50% warehouse duties, ensuring both hands-on outdoor engagement and efficient in-house operations. Job Role and Responsibilities: Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Maintain good communication with internal teams, customers, and vendors to ensure smooth coordination. Customer Support & Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers by ensuring timely delivery of bills and necessary support. Handle negotiations with labor contractors and manage daily labor operations as needed. Daily Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse activities to ensure smooth handling of goods. This role involves 50% fieldwork and 50% warehouse duties, balancing outdoor and indoor tasks. Bill Changing & Invoicing: Accurately update and generate invoices as per business needs, ensuring all paperwork is properly completed. Loading & Unloading Management: Ensure the safe and timely loading and unloading of goods while following proper procedures. Warehouse Caretaking: Help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times. Weighment & Billing Outside: Manage weighment and billing processes outside the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Vehicle Clearance at Customer Place: Obtain clearance for vehicles from customers when required to facilitate smooth transportation of goods. Key Requirements: Compulsory Requirement: Must have a bike for local transportation. Language Requirement: Proficiency in Marathi and Hindi is essential. Skills: Strong communication skills, customer service orientation, and a fundamental understanding of logistics and warehouse operations. Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a warehouse or cement industry environment. Physical Ability: Able to handle the physical tasks involved in warehouse operations. Expectations from this Role: Ensure that warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis. Effectively manage all activities related to billing, loading/unloading, and vehicle clearances. Foster strong relationships with customers and vendors, ensuring optimal service and operational success. Maintain the safety, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse environment.
