Job Description

Hiring Electrical engineers (freshers can apply) for Goa LocationA

Field Engineer's

duties related to metering and general operations typically include:

Meter Management: Periodical testing, rating, and calibration of energy meters (including CT operated meters). This now extends to the implementation and maintenance of smart meters.
Troubleshooting: Attending to consumer complaints and resolving technical issues related to meters and power supply on the field.

Installation and Maintenance:

Overseeing the erection, operation, and maintenance of distribution lines, transformers, and related equipment to ensure reliable and quality power supply.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyzing metering datasets, preparing energy audit reports, and recording data/discrepancies observed in the field. The smart meter initiative relies heavily on data analysis for loss reduction.

Revenue Services:

Conducting inspections, processing new connections, handling disconnections/reconnections, and potentially assisting in revenue collection activities.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensuring safety of personnel and the public during field operations and ensuring all works comply with GERC (Goa Electricity Regulatory Commission) guidelines and company norms.

Supervision:
