Fellow (Cardiac Anaesthesia)

As a member of the Medical Staff department in Mumbai, you are expected to maintain a professional approach towards all patients, staff, and visitors. Your key responsibilities include: - Providing medical cover, both routine and emergency, during your hours of duty while collaborating with other specialties within the institute. - Adhering to all clinical safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols such as wearing gloves, aprons, and practicing proper hand hygiene. - Being available to see patients as needed and actively participating in classroom and bedside teaching programs for postgraduate students and RMOs. - Identifying complex health problems and promptly reporting them to the appropriate doctor. - Supervising postgraduate students and participating in the daily clinical management of patients under the guidance of Consultants. - Prescribing pain management medicines when necessary and maintaining effective communication with patients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare workers. - Writing treatment orders in capital letters, ensuring each treatment sheet is dated, named, and signed. - Assisting consultants during rounds and following up with patients for further care as needed. - Compiling discharge summaries and adhering to on-call and duty rota based on departmental requirements. Additionally, you are expected to be part of the Quality Improvement Initiative and protocols of the organization.,
