The Fashion Designer(exp 1-3 year) will be responsible for developing creative and market-oriented garment designs for international buyers. The role involves concept development, sample creation, and coordination with merchandising and production teams to deliver export-quality collections that meet buyer specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development

• Create innovative garment designs as per buyer’s trend, season, and market requirements.
• Develop mood boards, sketches, CADs, and color stories for new collections.
• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments in coordination with sourcing and production teams.
• Develop samples and prototypes ensuring fit, quality, and styling accuracy.

Buyer Coordination

• Study and interpret buyer tech packs, references, and trend directions.
• Prepare design presentations and sample collections for buyer meetings.
• Incorporate buyer feedback and modify designs as needed.

Sampling & Production Support

• Coordinate with pattern masters, tailors, and merchandisers for sample development.
• Ensure timely execution of samples and design approvals.
• Monitor fabric and trim approvals, and ensure compliance with buyer standards.

Market & Trend Research

• Research international fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes suitable for export markets.
• Visit trade fairs, exhibitions, and online platforms for design inspiration.
• Maintain updated knowledge of fashion trends and export market demands.

Quality & Fit Assurance

• Participate in fit sessions and provide design adjustments as required.
• Ensure final samples meet quality, fit, and aesthetic standards approved by buyers.
