Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching trends, creating innovative designs, developing collections, and collaborating with the production team to bring concepts to life. This role requires a balance of creativity, technical skill, and knowledge of current fashion trends and consumer preferences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and styles to create market-relevant designs.
2. Conceptualize and sketch original designs for clothing, footwear, or accessories.
3. Develop seasonal collections aligned with brand identity and target customers.
4. Create technical drawings, mood boards, and design presentations.
5. Select fabrics, trims, colors, and materials for production.
6. Work closely with pattern makers, merchandisers, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.
7. Attend fittings, review samples, and provide corrections for final approval.
8. Manage the design process from concept to final product.
9. Stay updated with industry innovations, sustainability practices, and competitor activity.
10. Collaborate with marketing teams for product launches and campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills
1. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Fashion Designer or in a similar creative role.
3. Strong portfolio showcasing creative designs and technical skills.
4. Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO3D, CorelDRAW).
5. Knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and production techniques.
6. Excellent sense of style, color, and trends.
7. Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
