Industry: Education Functional Area: Visual Communication and Media Studies Job Title / Designation: Faculty - Visual Communication Job Description: The candidate must have strong knowledge and experience in communication studies . Knowledge of Visual Communication and media studies will be an added advantage. Candidate must have 3 - 5 years of Industry or teaching experience. Will be responsible to handle subjects related to B.Sc Visual communication. Must be interested in creating professional student projects and portfolios. Specific Skill Set: - Teaching: o Develop and deliver undergraduate/graduate courses in communication studies, including but not limited to, public speaking, media studies, intercultural communication, digital media, and communication theory. o Employ innovative and effective teaching methods that engage students and enhance learning. o Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic development. - Curriculum Development: o Collaborate with faculty to design and update course materials and curriculum to reflect current trends and advancements in the field of communication. o Participate in the assessment of student learning outcomes and the continuous improvement of the communication program. - Service: o Engage in departmental, college, and university service, including committee work and student advising. o Participate in community outreach and activities that promote the communication program. - Experience: o Previous teaching experience at the college/university level is preferred. - A demonstrated record of scholarly research and publications in communication studies.Good communicator (both oral and written) in English. - Should demonstrate positive attitude, high motivation and interpersonal skills.
