Factory / Production Manager Furniture Manufacturing

Role Overview: You will be overseeing daily manufacturing operations at a furniture manufacturing facility as a Factory/Production Manager. Your main responsibilities will include supervising and managing the shop floor, ensuring high-quality and timely production of furniture items, monitoring production targets, coordinating with the Purchase Department for inventory levels, identifying and resolving production bottlenecks, maintaining discipline and safety, implementing quality control procedures, and effectively communicating with senior management. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and manage carpentry, polishing, and upholstery teams on the shop floor. - Ensure furniture products meet quality standards and design specifications. - Monitor and meet daily production targets. - Coordinate with the Purchase Department for raw material availability. - Identify and resolve production bottlenecks or delays. - Maintain discipline, safety, and workflow efficiency. - Implement quality control procedures and continuous improvement practices. - Communicate progress, challenges, and needs to senior management. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in managing production teams in the furniture or woodwork industry. - Strong leadership and people-management skills. - Working knowledge of furniture production processes. - Ability to interpret design specifications for production workflows. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Familiarity with raw material planning and procurement coordination. Preferred Qualifications: - Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Production Management, or related field. - Experience with production management tools or software. - Understanding of lean manufacturing or process optimization (a plus).,
