Job Overview:We are seeking a highly organized, experienced, and proactive Factory Manager to oversee daily plant operations and ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality. The ideal candidate should have a background in manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and the ability to optimize production without compromising safety or product standards. Key Responsibilities:1. Plant Operations & Production ManagementSupervise daily operations of the manufacturing plant.Manage and monitor production planning, scheduling, and execution.Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.Coordinate across departments to maintain smooth workflow.2. Quality Control & AssuranceEnsure all products meet internal quality benchmarks and international standards.Implement and improve quality inspection and control processes.Work closely with the QA/QC team to reduce rejections and maintain consistency.3. Inventory & Material ManagementOversee raw material usage, procurement planning, and inventory levels.Ensure efficient storage and handling of yarns and finished mops.Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely supply of materials.4. Maintenance & InfrastructureEnsure proper maintenance of factory equipment and machinery.Plan preventive maintenance schedules and reduce downtime.Work with the technical team for upgradation and installation of new machines.5. Team ManagementLead, train, and supervise production staff and supervisors.Ensure workforce discipline, attendance, and shift management.Promote a culture of safety, performance, and accountability.6. Health, Safety & ComplianceEnforce health and safety regulations throughout the factory.Ensure compliance with local labor laws and environmental standards.Promote eco-friendly practices in line with Dolphin Mops' CSR values.7. Reporting & CoordinationGenerate daily/weekly/monthly reports on production, quality, inventory, and manpower.Coordinate with management on performance reviews and factory requirements.Participate in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Skills & Competencies:Proven leadership and people management skillsStrong understanding of textile or mop manufacturing processesKnowledge of quality control standards and certificationsProblem-solving and decision-making ability under pressureProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), Good communication and coordination skills across departments Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent5–10 years of experience in a similar manufacturing setupExperience in mop/ household / floor cleaning product industry is highly preferred Personality Traits:Results-oriented and focused on continuous improvementStrong leadership with the ability to lead a team of diverse individualsHands-on approach with attention to detailHigh integrity and alignment with company values
