Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in General Ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, and statutory audits. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: General Ledger (GL) Management: Maintain and review the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Month-End & Year-End Closing: Execute month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and other regulatory requirements. GL Review & Reconciliations: Conduct GL account reviews, perform reconciliations, and ensure proper classification of transactions. Statutory Audits: Assist in statutory audits, coordinate with auditors, and ensure timely completion of audit requirements. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with Indian tax laws, GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial reporting and accounting operations. Key Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience. Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Hands-on experience with General Ledger accounting, financial statements, and book closing activities. Expertise in statutory audit processes and compliance requirements. Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
